Sri Lanka has achieved the highest number of randomisations among the three participating countries, with 324 participants randomised to date. This achievement reflects the exceptional commitment, collaboration, and dedication of our investigators, study coordinators, hospital teams, and, most importantly, the patients who have chosen to contribute to clinical research.

The COLCARDIO-ACS trial is an international multicentre study conducted in collaboration with the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) Clinical Trials Centre, University of Sydney, Australia, and is managed by RemediumOne in Sri Lanka.

The study is evaluating strategies to improve outcomes for patients presenting with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) while generating high-quality evidence to help shape the future of cardiovascular care worldwide. Every participant enrolled represents a valuable contribution towards improving treatment for patients affected by cardiovascular disease, one of the leading causes of death globally.

This milestone would not have been possible without the dedication of our principal investigators, research coordinators, study team and collaborating institutions across Sri Lanka.

A special thank you also goes to every participant who placed their trust in this research. Your contribution has the potential to improve the lives of countless patients in the years to come.

On behalf of everyone at RemediumOne, we extend our sincere appreciation to the entire Sri Lankan COLCARDIO-ACS team for this remarkable achievement.
