Limited is a medical research company based in Sri Lanka, providing clinical research management and life science services to major clinical research companies and academic institutions around the world. We are affiliated to the Faculty of Medicine, University of Kelaniya, under a public-private partnership. Our clinical research spans multiple therapeutic areas, from cardiovascular, stroke, gastroenterology, pediatrics, infectious diseases and many more. We work at government hospitals, alongside the top consultant doctors existing in the country.

We are currently seeking a qualified candidate with the following educational background and expertise:

Education & expertise required:

  • MBBS qualification and thorough knowledge in medical terminologies.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are essential to work effectively with patients, their physicians and families.
  • Excellent language proficiency in both English and Tamil (oral and written).
  • Willingness to work from the research site at National Hospital of Sri Lanka – Colombo.

Allowance:  A monthly internship allowance will be paid, considering the study requirement.

Duration:  6 – 8 months

The Medical Intern provides overall support to the medical investigators in hospitals to coordinate and manage clinical studies in multiple disease areas with applicable research management systems and processes. The individual will perform under supervision of medical specialists working as principal investigators in hospitals to coordinate, implement, monitor progress and successfully conclude clinical studies.
