We were delighted to have Professor Will Broughton, a dedicated paramedic and the Director of Education of Buckinghamshire New University (BNU), at RemediumOne.
Dr. Broughton is also actively serving in frontline clinical roles with the NHS. He has previously designed and co-delivered an ambulance education program for the Northern Provincial Health Ministry in Sri Lanka. Recently, he led BNU’s team in Sri Lanka in two high-impact training initiatives with 1990 Suwa Seriya—Sri Lanka’s pioneering free ambulance service—first training 240 Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) in 8 days, followed by an intensive 7-day trauma care program for 252 EMTs and managers.
During his visit, we had productive discussions about potential collaborations to further strengthen emergency medical services.
We’re grateful for his expertise and the ongoing collaboration with 1990 Suwa Seriya, which continues to strengthen emergency care capabilities across Sri Lanka.
