Director of RemediumOne Private Limited, Mr. Samantha Ranatunga has a wealth of experience in a variety of industries. He also held the position as Chairman of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Ranatunga has worked for 30 years at the CIC Group and of it 10 years as its Managing Director and CEO. Mr. Ranatunga also served as an independent director at the Seylan Bank Board for 9 years. His desire to reconnect with the field of science and technology aided his decision to join a center of scientific excellence such as RemediumOne. Using his experience as a pioneer in coordinating and setting up agricultural and pharmaceutical businesses of CIC, Mr. Ranatunga will help our quest to strategically build and position RemediumOne in the global clinical trial industry to create further business opportunities for the organization and its potential stakeholders.

Following my Internship in North Colombo Teaching Hospital Ragama , I finished my 1st 4years in Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine Unit in Base Hospital Puttalam, and currently attached to the Anesthesiology Unit in District General Hospital Negombo.

Ever since passing out from Medical Faculty in 2006, I had a passion towards Clinical Research and I was recruited to the Clinical Trails Unit (CTU) Pharmacology Department University of Kelaniya as a Clinical Research Coordinator and after RemediumOne was found in 2009 I continued my work in Clinical Operations for many years leading a team of 45+ staff in my Department running many Phase II and Phase III Clinical trials around many Leading State Hospitals in Sri Lanka for more than 10 Years creating a high quality platform for many Sponsor and CROs to work in Sri Lanka.

Anuradha Dahanayaka has more than 10 years of experience in clinical research industry as a clinical research coordinator, project manager and clinical operations including both academic and commercial clinical projects. Ms. Anuradha is PMP certified project manager and several publications in academic journals. She has conducted several training programs for clinical research coordinators, on GCP, data management, quality management, safety management, monitoring, TMF and project management. She also possesses experience in facing several audits conducted by leading global auditors.

More than 11 years of experience in clinical trials industry. Currently supporting the organisation with business development and regulatory affairs.

Ingrid de Silva has almost 40 years’ experience in the fields of import/ export procedures, sound knowledge in human resource, marketing. During her career she held positions in the executive grade in multinational companies. She served as the Executive Secretary to the American Chamber of Commerce in Sri Lanka. During this period, she has a great exposure in interacting with different nationalities and working together in the respective fields.

Shalomi is the overall responsible for Compliance and Quality Assurance at RemediumOne. She has completed her bachelor’s degree in nutrition and Dietetics from Univerity of Bangalore. She is a certified PMP from Project Management Institute USA. Shalomi started her career in the quality assurance field in the food industry and has over 7 years of experience in clinical trial quality assurance. She is also a certified Lead Auditor for ISO 9001 and 27001.

Isuru Edirisinghe started his corporate career with RemediumOne (Pvt.) Ltd in 2015 and currently performs in the capacity of Manager – Human Resources. He is responsible for the overall human resources management functions of the organization including staff recruitment, onboarding, training & development, performance management, planning and execution of reward & recognition system, staff disciplinary management and create strong virtual platform to promote staff interaction & engagement. He is an associate member of Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) and holds a Bachelors degree in Business management from University College – Dublin.

Rajeewa Perera is currently employed in RemediumOne (Pvt) Ltd as the Manager Facilities. More than twenty-seven years of experience in Finance, Admin, Account Management and Facilities Management under six different Business entities. Mr. Rajeewa is Qualified in Finance, Admin, and Facilities Management. He is a life member of the Accounting Technicians of Sri Lanka and Holding an Advance Diploma in Facilities Management from the Ubiquity University of USA. Mr. Rajeewa covers a work scope in Admin, Vendor, Asset, Client, Maintenance management as a Facility Manager.

Upul Ratnayake has almost twenty years of experience in Information and Communication Technology in different clusters in different organizations. He has a BCS (UK) degree in Computer Science from the British Computer Society of Colombo and has since been involved in the IT sector at various levels. After starting his career as a Systems Engineer, he rose to be a Manager-Information and Communication Technology., a position that he held until February 13, 2007, at the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka and work closely with the ICTA Agency in Sri Lanka. He has worked Garment industry as a Group Manager-ICT. In 2018, he joined RemediumOne (Pvt) Ltd as a Manager- Information and Communication Technology. He is a member of the industry organizations such as the British Computer Society and Australian Computer Society.
